Privacy Policy
Your privacy is our most important feature.
At Who Tried, we take your privacy extremely seriously. Our application is designed with a "Local First" approach to ensure that your data remains under your control at all times.
Data Collection
Who Tried does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. All information, including:
- Intruder photos
- Unlock attempt timestamps
- Device status logs
is stored exclusively on your device's local storage in a secure, hidden folder.
Permissions Usage
To provide its security features, the app requires specific permissions:
- Camera: Used only to capture photos of intruders during failed unlock attempts.
- Storage: Used only to save the captured evidence on your device.
- Device Admin: Used to monitor the lock screen for failed unlock events.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties. There are no tracking scripts, advertising SDKs, or analytics tools integrated into the Who Tried app that could compromise your privacy.
Your Control
You have full control over your data. You can delete individual logs or all data at any time from within the app settings. Once deleted, the data is permanently removed from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
